Bio:
Brett McDermid joined the Chorale in 2015, and is thrilled to be a member of the touring ensemble performing Orlando di Lasso’s Lagrime di San Pietro, directed by the amazing Peter Sellars.
He has performed with male sextet Chanson, Concordia Choir, Kentucky Opera, Cornerstone Chorale, De Angelis Vocal Ensemble, Los Angeles Chamber Singers, Cardinal Singers, Horizon Chamber Choir, and Pro Arte Voices San Diego, and currently sings with the Clarion Singers, the Choir of St. James in the City, True Concord Orchestra and Voices, Los Angeles Chamber Choir, Louisville Chamber Choir, and LASchola. He is also a frequent collaborator with the early music ensemble Tesserae, and was recently the solo vocalist in a concert of works for period instruments and basso profundo.
Brett and his wife Susie, in partnership with the legendary Scott Liggett, have launched Constellation Music Group, and are in the process of finishing their first studio recording - a collection of transcendent a cappella works by J. Aaron McDermid. In addition, Brett works as a TV and internet voice-over artist.
